Walking across America for a Dream

Having a vision is a very ignoble thing. It is self serving, it is altruistic; It is akin to a mad man following but a fraction of a dream. A plan of absolute madness that for some fucked up reason has a tendency to work. It works miraculously well.
This walk of faith is astounding; it is awe inspiring just how freaking well it works. How delicious this dance can be. This celebration of finding god awaiting for you at every corner, giving you a friendly hello as you dance into this great and miraculous infinity that can be even greater than a lofty ideal you have fashioned within your brain…or the cold hard reality that you dance softly against the heart of another.
As I begin my journey the world is very kind to me, As doors close other doors open, new sunrises explode and sunsets refract and here I stand on the streets of Austin boldly placing flyers and talking to people about writing, and visions, and dreams and sharing my own and talking about yours and creating a bigger world by simply being in it.
Maybe the world shall not always be kind (she has her moments, like all of us do) but at each turn I shall always remember to be thankful; Thankful and ever so grateful to dance in this world with you, each of you. To boldly and miraculously dance into the great mystery and ride into tomorrow with the infinite wisdom that it is a good day to live, to dance my own steps, to hear my own drumbeat and say, “Fuck, that’s a good beat!”
To still see God when I pass a mirror as I wave words of encouragement to myself, and know that I am walking in the way I intend to experience this world. To know that I can then wave at you and know that as I experience this so do you… this tickles me, this makes me laugh, It makes so much sense and no sense at all and above all else that it is a very good day to live, it is a very good day to follow a vision.
From the road,
