Bob is a very good story teller and I will try to read them
all. Loved the interview.
Bob was kind enough to send me several of his stories in the course of the past two or three years. I have been teaching German and English literature for more than 30 years, so I think I know a well-written story when I read one, and Bob’s stories are well-written, indeed. I like his pattern of including “twists”, which I decided to call “saltos”, often he employs more than one. His ability to describe actions is great, it can make a situation in his text almost palpable!
I hope his stories will be read by lots of people to give him the success he deserves.

It had been a while since I watched people urge forward in their seats hungry for the next word. I did not know him yet but I recognized a professional speaker when I saw -and- heard one. Beyond the clarity of voice, Bob engages his audience immediately with his vibrant story and charming characters, and he builds that investment of curiosity through his twists and threads to the very end. Then, I got to read “Whatever Lulu Wants” and the charm continued. Bob Clark has a way of wordsmithing stories that neatly ties together the nuances while making plenty of room for surprises along the way and treating the reader to endings one might not fully anticipate.
Mr. Clark is at his best when he writes about life on the U.S./Mexican border. He has a unique talent for revealing intimate and honest details of a life there that most writers barely understand or write about convincingly. Where can I find more of his work?
I am truly amazed by the heartwarming comments. They are (almost) worth more me to me than if people actually purchased the book. Notice that I said “almost.” I think I am blushing now.
Bob’s writing is organic and timeless. Anyone in any circumstance of life can relate to his finely tuned tales. I’ve read some of his works and find myself wanting more. Keep ‘em coming, Bob!

What can I say about Bob I would need to write a book about him. He is a great writer with a great imagination so if you read this you will be very interested. YOu should be the next Edgar Allen Poe what do you think.
Bob Clark knows how to tell a story
Hard edged, yet at its core sentimental. Whatever Lulu Wants is a very engaging story, and Bob really knows how to pull off some surprising twists. Having had the pleasure reading several of Bob’s storys, I would expect no less of him. In my opinion his stories merit a book of their own.
